Pharma Companies Relationship Manager

Job Purpose:
The Pharma Companies Relationship Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and
expanding strategic relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers. The role involves
onboarding new vendor partners, maintaining existing contracts, ensuring operational and data
alignment, managing escalation and IQVIA-related activities, driving vendor growth initiatives,
maximizing advertising and promotional revenues, and overseeing Patient Support Programs
(PSPs) end-to-end.

 

Key Responsibilities:


1. Vendor Onboarding & Relationship Management
 Identify and onboard new pharmaceutical companies to expand the vendor base.
 Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance with legal and business
requirements.
 Serve as the single point of contact for assigned vendors to ensure smooth collaboration.
 Maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendor stakeholders including commercial,
marketing, supply chain, and medical teams.
2. Contract & Data Management
 Maintain up-to-date vendor contracts, pricing, and terms in line with company policy.
 Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and fulfillment of vendor data
requirements.
 Manage and reconcile sales, inventory, and performance data as per vendor
expectations.
3. Escalation & Issue Resolution
 Act as the escalation point for vendor-related operational, commercial, or compliance
issues.
 Work closely with internal teams (supply chain, finance, regulatory, operations) to ensure
timely resolution.
4. IQVIA & Data Collaboration
 Manage all vendor interactions and data exchange activities with IQVIA and other
analytics partners.
 Ensure data accuracy, timely submissions, and compliance with confidentiality norms.
 Collaborate on IQVIA-linked growth analytics, reporting, and business insights for
vendors.
5. Growth & Revenue Maximization

 Drive growth projects jointly with vendors, including market expansion, distribution
optimization, and digital initiatives.
 Sell advertising and promotional opportunities (e.g., digital banners, email campaigns, in-
store visibility, co-branded initiatives) to vendors to maximize this revenue stream.
 Develop customized proposals and manage the end-to-end execution of promotional
campaigns.
6. Patient Support Programs (PSP) Management
 Design, implement, and manage PSPs in collaboration with vendors, ensuring patient-
centric execution and compliance with regulations.
 Monitor program performance, report outcomes, and recommend improvements.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


 Number of new vendor sign-ups per quarter/year
 Vendor satisfaction and retention rate
 Timely and accurate data/report submissions
 Revenue from promotional and advertising sales
 Successful implementation and performance of PSPs
 Resolution time for vendor escalations


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field5–10 years of experience in pharma distribution, key account management, or vendorrelations rolesExperience working with IQVIA or similar data systems preferredPrior experience in handling PSPs and/or promotional partnerships is an advantageStrong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution ecosystemExcellent relationship management and negotiation skillsStrong data handling, analytical, and reporting capabilitiesCommercial acumen with experience in B2B revenue generationExcellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and projects Knowledge of compliance and regulatory norms in pharma industry
