Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing the comprehensive marketing strategy for the launch and ongoing operation of our brandst. This role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader with a strong understanding of the local Egyptian consumer, digital marketing landscape, and a passion for lifestyle, culture, and community building, all while adhering our global brands identity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Planning & Budget Management
- Develop and implement the annual and quarterly marketing strategies, plans, and budgets for the Egyptian market, covering brand launch, product promotions, community engagement, and digital presence.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis in Egypt to identify trends, consumer behavior, and opportunities for growth, advising the global/regional team on local insights.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including brand awareness, customer acquisition costs, sales conversion, and ROI for all marketing activities.
Brand Launch & Localisation
- Lead all marketing efforts for the successful market entry and launch of our stores in key locations across Egypt.
- Ensure all local marketing initiatives, communications, and in-store materials are consistent with the global brands identity (energy, music, lifestyle, and high-quality products) while being culturally relevant for the Egyptian audience.
- Oversee the development of localized content and campaigns that resonate with the Egyptian lifestyle and food & beverage culture.
Digital Marketing & Performance
- Design and execute a robust digital marketing strategy focused on driving traffic, engagement, and sales, including:
- Social Media Management: Local strategy, content creation, community management, and paid advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Performance Marketing: Manage and optimize paid search (Google Ads) and social campaigns to achieve targets.
- App/Loyalty Program: Drive adoption and engagement with our Brands' mobile app and loyalty program.
- Manage the local website/pages, ensuring content is up-to-date and SEO-optimized for the Egyptian market.
Community, PR & Partnerships
- Develop and implement strategies to build and nurture our brands community both online and offline (in line with the brand’s focus on community and culture).
- Identify, vet, and manage local brand ambassadors and influencer partnerships that authentically align with the brand's values.
- Oversee Public Relations (PR) efforts, including media relations and press event execution, to generate positive brand coverage.
- Plan and execute experiential marketing events and store activations to create memorable customer experiences and drive footfall.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Operations/Retail team to align marketing campaigns with in-store execution, promotions, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the Global/Regional Marketing Team to ensure local plans are integrated with global initiatives and best practices are shared.
- Manage and mentor any junior marketing staff or agency partners.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a management role, preferably within the FMCG, Retail, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), or Lifestyle/Hospitality sectors.Launch Experience: Proven track record of successfully launching a new international brands or product line in the Egyptian market is highly desirable.Local Expertise: Deep understanding of the Egyptian consumer, media landscape, and cultural nuances.Digital Proficiency: Strong expertise in performance marketing, social media marketing, and data analytics.Language: Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential.
