Accounting Supervisor

 

1. Accounting Operations

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
  • Review and verify journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure proper month-end and year-end closing processes are completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for both holding and subsidiary companies.

2. Consolidation & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and eliminate intercompany transactions during consolidation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS or local standards).
  • Analyze subsidiary financial statements to identify trends, variances, and issues requiring management attention.
  • Prepare management reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis as required.

3. Compliance & Audit

  • Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to the company’s financial policies and procedures.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Review and analyze actual results against budget and explain key variances.
  • Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.

5. Team Supervision & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
  • Review team outputs to maintain high standards of financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with other departments and subsidiaries to ensure smooth financial operations and information flow.

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience :Minimum of 7–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a holding or group of companies Certifications :CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
