1. Accounting Operations
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
- Review and verify journal entries, accruals, and adjustments for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure proper month-end and year-end closing processes are completed on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for both holding and subsidiary companies.
2. Consolidation & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and eliminate intercompany transactions during consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS or local standards).
- Analyze subsidiary financial statements to identify trends, variances, and issues requiring management attention.
- Prepare management reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis as required.
3. Compliance & Audit
- Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to the company’s financial policies and procedures.
4. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Review and analyze actual results against budget and explain key variances.
- Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
5. Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
- Review team outputs to maintain high standards of financial reporting.
- Coordinate with other departments and subsidiaries to ensure smooth financial operations and information flow.
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience :Minimum of 7–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a holding or group of companies Certifications :CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred
