Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering multiple small to medium-sized IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The role requires hands-on project leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate technical and business teams. The Project Manager will work independently, driving project success through structured methodologies and effective communication.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, infrastructure, and business users.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure proper documentation, governance, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare status reports, and present updates to management or steering committees.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of project management standards.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs, technical requirements, and quality expectations.

 


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.3-5 years of progressive experience in IT project management, preferably in applications, infrastructure, or systems integration projects.Proven track record of delivering multiple projects independently.Solid understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.Experience working with internal IT teams and third-party vendors.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent).Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification.Agile certifications (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, etc.) are an asset.
