Store Keeper

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the store, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Issue materials and products to relevant departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using manual logs and/or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with recorded inventory.
  • Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to support smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports to management as required.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

2-5 years of proven experience in a storekeeper, inventory, or warehouse role.Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP systems and basic computer applications.Strong organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Ability to lift and move materials as required.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
