. Project Planning & Coordination:
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all architectural project activities.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams.
- Ensure project documentation, drawings, and specifications are up to date and properly communicated.
2. Design Management:
- Supervise and guide the architectural design process from concept to detailed drawings.
- Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and material selections.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
- Conduct design and technical reviews to ensure alignment with client and project requirements.
3. Construction Oversight:
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to approved drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits to inspect work and resolve design or technical issues.
- Collaborate with site engineers and contractors to address RFIs, design changes, and conflicts.
- Ensure the smooth flow of information between office and site teams.
4. Quality, Budget & Timeline Control:
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Ensure that all project phases meet quality control standards and client satisfaction.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to maintain project timelines.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and project partners.
- Present design concepts, progress updates, and project reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
6. Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead a team of architects, engineers, and draftsmen through all project phases.
- Provide mentoring, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
- Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- achelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale building projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Project (or Primavera).
- Excellent understanding of local building codes and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
