Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in motors, panels, control systems, and power distribution units.
- Troubleshoot PLC systems, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
- Conduct inspections and identify areas for performance improvement or potential failures.
- Ensure all systems operate according to safety and quality standards.
2. Technical Analysis & Documentation:
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance schedules for management.
- Use electrical measuring tools, control software, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
3. Preventive Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for critical systems.
- Monitor system performance to predict failures and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
4. Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical works are performed according to local regulations, HSE standards, and company policies.
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
5. Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise and guide technicians and maintenance teams during electrical repair and service tasks.
- Support training and development for junior staff in maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, automation, and operations teams to achieve maintenance goals.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Excellent experience in the maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system analysis.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and use measurement tools and control software.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid light vehicle driving license.
- GCC (Gulf region) experience preferred.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, and automation systems.
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems, motors, and control panels.
- Familiarity with energy management and maintenance software.
