Agricultural Engineer

  • Design, develop, and implement agricultural systems and equipment to improve efficiency and sustainability.
  • Conduct field research and analyze data to optimize crop production and soil management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing agricultural processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of irrigation, drainage, and fertilization systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to farm staff on the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all engineering projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations on project progress and outcomes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to agricultural equipment and recommend effective solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of experimental trials for new crop varieties and farming techniques.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in agricultural engineering.

Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.2-3 years of professional experience in agricultural engineering or a similar role.Proven experience with fieldwork, crop management like grapes, and agricultural machinery.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and sustainable farming practices.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of relevant environmental and safety regulations.Proficiency in using engineering software and data analysis tools.Willingness to travel to field sites as required.
