Job Title: Planning and Budgeting Supervisor

                                                         Job Purpose 
The Planning and Budgeting Supervisor will lead the budgeting and planning activities across the company. Your role is to make sure financial plans support business goals and provide management with clear, accurate insights that guide decision-making. You’ll manage the preparation of budgets, consolidation of budgets, monitor performance against financial targets, and support continuous process improvement in financial planning and analysis and improve how the company plans and reports its financial results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
• Work with department heads to ensure realistic and aligned budget submissions.
• Review variances and highlight key issues with practical recommendations.
• Ensure all submissions follow corporate timelines and controls.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis

• Build and maintain financial models that support strategic planning.
• Deliver monthly reports showing key results, trends, and variances.
• Run “what-if” scenarios to test financial impacts of business changes.
• Prepare summaries and presentations for management and board meetings.

3. Process and System Improvement

• Simplify and enhance budgeting templates and tools.
• Support automation and reporting improvements in the finance system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Take part in system upgrades to improve reporting accuracy.

4. Leadership and Collaboration

• Supervise a small team, provide coaching, and monitor their performance.
• Work closely with other departments to promote accountability.
• Encourage continuous improvement and teamwork within the finance team.
