- Write, edit and publish compelling product titles, descriptions, specifications, attributes and any related content for the e-commerce site.
- Create and maintain content assets such as banners, landing pages, promotional copy, email flows, and category pages.
- Ensure that all content reflects the brand tone, voice and style guidelines; maintain consistency across all online channels.
- Collaborate with design/photography teams to ensure imagery and visuals accompanying product content are high quality, on-brand and support conversion.
- Optimize content for SEO: keywords, metadata, search-friendly copy, structure, and internal-site search.
- Manage content uploads, workflows and catalogue data via CMS, PIM or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.).
- Conduct quality control checks: product info accuracy (pricing, specs, stock status), image quality, content consistency, no “gaps” in catalog.
- Work with analytics/data tools to monitor content performance (eg traffic, conversion, bounce, “no results”), and make recommendations for improvement.
- Support/promote e-commerce campaigns, seasonal launches, discounts, and promotions by ensuring content is ready (descriptions, visuals, landing page updates).
- Collaborate with merchandising, operations, customer service, digital marketing teams to ensure product availability, and that content supports the broader business strategy.
- Stay updated with e-commerce trends, competitor content strategies, consumer behavior and make proactive content suggestions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, E-Commerce or similar. 2-3 years (or more) experience in e-commerce content, digital merchandising or online catalog management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail. Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, metadata optimization. Comfortable using content management systems (CMS), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, PIM systems), and Excel/data tools. Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (marketing, design, operations) and manage multiple priorities. Analytical mindset: interpret data, identify opportunities for content improvement, comfortable with performance metrics. (Preferred) Some experience with digital marketing tools, basic HTML/CSS, image editing tools, workflow automation.
