Specification Manager

  • Assist Sales Managers in obtaining approvals for Jazeera products by providing technical and commercial information for securing projects.
     
  • Maintain an updated database on all essential construction projects and architects in an assigned country.
     
  • Build up a strong business network within the selected professional group of consultants, architects, designers, and project specifiers by initiating contacts.
     
  • Conduct technical and commercial training/orientation sessions at seminars to increase Jazeera’s visibility and maximize sales through the architect channel.
     
  • Identify and map projects in Egypt.
     
  • Monitor market status to promote Jazeera products and maintain market leadership.
     
  • Support sales team in achieving targets by securing Jazeera approvals and updating project status.
     
  • Arrange meetings with architects and project owners to present Jazeera as a Company and its products.
     
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and project teams regarding product selection and application.
     
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of specifications and products.
     
  • Analyze sales data and project outcomes to inform future business development strategies and initiatives.
     
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic planning.
     
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
     
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to address any issues related to specifications.
     
  • Study Project specification /BOQ and Prepare a full Technical Submittal including (Paint system-method of statement – compliance sheet – Test certificates – project reference….etc) in order to achieve project approvals.
     
  • Prepare and conduct Seminars, Presentation to clients (Consultant &Engineering office – Developer – Contractors – Architecture) in all Type of paint segment (Architectural – Protective– Flooring – Intumescent ).
     
  • Support sales team in Project/ Retail / exporting Dept in product specification, Approvals, meetings with clients, Registration with Ministries, government entities and Authorities
     
  • Build up a Strong Relationship, Business network with consultant and Engineering Office to Ensure specify our products, Company in their Vendor list.
     
  • Participate in Increasing our product portfolio by studying the competitor products and monitor market needs.
     
  • Format and update an information list for upcoming Mega Project.
     
  • Develop the work process through advice, actions through interaction with the project sales team in order to support and achieve targets.
     
  • Participate & Represent Company in International and Local Exhibitions &Forum.
     
  • Participate in building up a growing Specification Team depend on work expand and budget.
     

Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience Business development and specification management in paints or coatings industry experience.Overseeing construction projects.Ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Foundation SkillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Good interpersonal skills.Flexible, possesses leadership, active, proactive, result oriented, work under pressure, delivers on time, team player, and respects hierarchy.Analytical and training skills.Ability to work on own initiative Technical SkillsAbility to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.Strong understanding of project management and technical specifications.Excellent command in English.Local market knowledge (customers, products, competitors).
