Key Responsibilities
Cost Analysis & Reporting
Prepare and analyze cost reports, profitability analysis, and variance reports.
Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accurate allocation.
Conduct monthly closing of cost accounts.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Compare actual results against budget and highlight variances.
Inventory & Production Costing
Maintain accurate records of inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Monitor and reconcile inventory movements.
Ensure correct product costing for existing and new products.
Internal Control & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audit processes related to cost accounting.
Decision Support
Provide cost analysis to support management in pricing, profitability, and efficiency decisions.
Identify areas of cost reduction and process improvements.
Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., CMA) is an advantage.3–5 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods, budgeting, and variance analysis.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
