- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic components of textile machinery, particularly knitting machines (e.g., Mayer & Cie, Terrot, Lonati, Santoni, Karl Mayer).
- Troubleshoot and repair control panels, PLC systems, drives, sensors, motors, and other electronic equipment.
- Calibrate and test electronic systems to ensure optimal machine performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team to resolve machine breakdowns.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on maintenance activities, machine manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machines and electronic systems.
- Monitor the performance of machines and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
- Provide training to operators and technicians on machine handling and minor troubleshooting.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.Experience:Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electronic maintenance, preferably in a textile manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience with knitting machines (circular, flatbed, or warp knitting) is highly preferred.Knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics, and electronic diagnostic tools.Skills:Strong understanding of PLC programming, drive systems (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Lenze), and industrial control systems.Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electronic faults quickly.Familiarity with machine automation, HMI interfaces, and control logic.Ability to work independently and under pressure to minimize downtime.Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.Basic computer literacy (MS Office, maintenance management software, etc.).Preferred:Experience with textile-specific electronic systems and production environments.Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and preventive maintenance strategies.Ability to read and interpret machine manuals in English and/or other relevant languages.
