Job Summary:
The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the company’s online sales strategy. This role involves managing the e-commerce website, online marketplaces, and digital marketing initiatives to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to meet sales and profitability targets.
Identify new opportunities for online growth, partnerships, and market expansion.
Website & Platform Management
Oversee the day-to-day management of the company’s website and online stores.
Ensure product listings, pricing, and content are accurate and up to date.
Work with developers/designers to enhance user experience and functionality.
Marketing & Promotion
Plan and execute online marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, social media, affiliate marketing).
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns to optimize ROI.
Coordinate seasonal promotions, product launches, and special offers.
Data & Analytics
Track KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and customer retention.
Generate reports and insights to support decision-making.
Customer Experience
Ensure seamless customer journeys from browsing to checkout.
Handle escalations of customer service issues related to online sales.
Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team & Vendor Management
Lead and mentor the e-commerce team (if applicable).
Manage relationships with external agencies, logistics providers, and technology partners.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or a related field.Proven experience ( 10+ years) in managing e-commerce operations or digital marketing.Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and SEO/SEM practices.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.
