Role Description:

· Prepare complete and coordinated electrical shop drawings for lighting, power, low current, and earthing systems.

· Review design drawings (IFC, tender) and translate them into constructible shop drawings.

· Coordinate with architectural, structural, and mechanical teams to avoid service clashes and ensure proper installation.

· Develop layouts, sections, load schedules, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), panel board schedules, etc.

· Ensure all drawings comply with local codes (NEC, IEC) and project specifications.

· Modify drawings to reflect consultant comments and site conditions as required.

· Assist in BIM coordination and clash detection using Revit MEP / Navisworks.

· Maintain drawing logs and version control of all submissions and revisions.

· Coordinate with procurement and site execution teams regarding material selection and constructability.

· Prepare as-built drawings based on final installation


Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience3–6 years of experience in Electrical shop drawing preparation and designSolid understanding of electrical systems in buildings: lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, data, CCTV, access control, etcFamiliarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), IEC, and local authority requirementsComputer Skills : Very GoodLanguages: Very GoodProgrammingProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite
