- Design of newly required mechanical systems (compressed air, steam, HVAC, and firefighting) for factories and warehouses including:
- Prepare the technical drawings, BOQ, and calculation sheet for each system.
- Review of contractors’ financial and technical offers to ensure they meet the needed specifications.
- Ensure that the implementation of work by contractors is done according to the technical specifications of the project.
- Design, plan and execute capital improvement projects for the mechanical system with co-operation with other departments.
- Evaluate employees’ performance and provide training and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure the efficient implementation of maintenance and repair procedures.
- Provide technical direction over preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance requirements.
- Plan, organize, direct, and supervise the work of municipal utility maintenance and operations staff.
- Ensure the availability of all required resources such as manpower, materials/equipment, and approvals/certifications to maintain smooth operations at site.
- Monitor the maintenance plan through technical key performance indicators aimed at efficiency and cost savings.
- Analyze data related to maintenance, breakdowns, and budgets.
- Ensure that employees and external contractors comply with policies and regulations.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Communicate with other departments regarding the activities of the engineering department.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory and backup parts within economic inventory level and Review purchasing requests for spare parts.
- Oversees contract agreements for repair, maintenance, and construction services.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering -Alexandria university Preferred.- 5-8 years of experience.- able to use Auto-Cad, experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Microsoft Projects.- Manufacturing Experience is needed.- Excellent communication skills.- solve problems skills.- good in English.
