Sales Engineer

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding client needs and presenting tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers.
  • Act as a technical advisor during the sales process, addressing customer inquiries and providing in-depth product knowledge.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, quotations, and technical documentation to support sales efforts.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated and met.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments to evaluate client environments and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation and response to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Support post-sales activities, including installation, training, and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical resource and advocate.

2-5 years of experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or related engineering role.Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.Demonstrated experience in preparing technical proposals and delivering presentations.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.Willingness to travel to client sites as required.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry trends.
