Reservation Manager – Roles & Responsibilities


 


 

  1. Manage and oversee all customer reservations (flights, hotels, packages, transfers).
  2. Coordinate with suppliers (hotels, airlines, DMCs) to secure best rates and services.
  3. Handle customer inquiries, booking modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
  4. Supervise and support the reservations team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
  5. Operate and monitor booking systems (GDS/CRS such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  6. Issue invoices, confirm payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  7. Resolve booking-related issues and provide quick solutions to clients and suppliers.
  8. Prepare regular reports on reservations, cancellations, and revenue.
  9. Maintain high service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
  10. Communicate with management to share market insights and suggest improvements.


 


 


 Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in reservations within the travel & tourism industry.Strong knowledge of GDS/CRS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.).Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
