- Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Prepare detailed variance analyses, investigating discrepancies between actual and standard costs.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights on cost drivers and trends.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations related to cost accounting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to cost accounting and financial reporting.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding cost accounting matters.
