Department: Planning Department Role Overview: As a Supply & Demand Planner, you will play a key role in balancing production capacity with customer demand, ensuring product availability while minimizing waste and inventory costs. You will collaborate closely with production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to maintain a seamless supply chain flow tailored to the specific dynamics of the chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using sales data, customer insights, and market trends.
Translate demand plans into feasible supply plans aligned with production capabilities and raw material availability.
Coordinate with manufacturing and procurement teams to manage capacity and inventory levels effectively.
Identify and resolve gaps between supply and demand, and propose corrective actions,
monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory turnover.
Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes with timely data and scenario analysis.
Qualifications
achelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and planning tools (e.g., SAP, OMP, Oracle).
Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly across functions
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in chemical supply chains is a plus.
