Maintenance Manager

  • Lead and manage the maintenance department, including mechanical, electrical, and utilities teams.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and other relevant food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee maintenance of production lines, packaging systems, refrigeration, boilers, and HVAC systems.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns, installations, and major equipment repairs or upgrades.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational goals.
  • Analyze maintenance data, KPIs, and equipment performance to drive reliability improvements.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and internal policies.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in maintenance roles within the food processing or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.In-depth understanding of food safety standards and compliance requirements.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.Preferably resident at Zayed or October.
