- Negotiate to obtain the best possible rates for ocean freight, trucking, customs, carrier services, and insurance.
- Handle communication and coordination with shipping lines, customs brokers, and trucking providers.
- Manage the entire booking process for both import and export shipments.
- Oversee all logistics procedures related to import and export operations.
- Book vessels and prepare complete and accurate shipping documentation.
- Organize and manage the subsidization process efficiently.
- Monitor daily cash transactions relevant to logistics activities.
- Keep the shipment status updated and ensure timely follow-up until delivery.
- Coordinate the production plan with the loading schedule.
- Handle and settle all processes related to temporary admission.
A bachelor’s degree is a must (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields).2–4 years of proven experience as a Logistics Specialist, preferably in a large international organization.Strong teamwork and motivational abilities.Excellent planning and organizing skills.Excellent in English, both written and spoken.Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).Strong communication skills.Very good negotiation skills.
