Gym Front Desk and Sales Rep

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:

  • Greet and assist members, guests, and prospective clients in a welcoming, professional manner.
  • Handle check-ins, membership verifications, and guest passes.
  • Manage phone inquiries, emails, and social media messages promptly and courteously.
  • Process payments for memberships, merchandise, and services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk, lobby, and communal areas.
  • Monitor and enforce gym policies and safety procedures.

Sales Duties:

  • Conduct gym tours for prospective members, highlighting facilities, services, and promotions.
  • Explain membership options, pricing, and benefits clearly and persuasively.
  • Upsell personal training packages, group classes, and other value-added services.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Participate in outreach and marketing initiatives to attract new members


Skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or front desk operations (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
