  1. Support and work with teams to proactively manage divisional procurement needs by providing timely recommendations and managing turnaround time of procurement processes, including doing the quarterly forecast of procurement activities for assigned divisions
  2. Conduct research and benchmarking exercises for the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules, and quality.
  3. Source, develop, and maintain a qualified pool of suppliers to ensure operational sustainability, enhance profitability, reduce operating costs, and boost efficiency.
  4. Manages and nurtures relationships with vendors to ensure the best services and value.
  5. Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.
  6. Negotiate Prices, monitoring the quality of service provided
  7. Establish standards and processes for approved vendors performance assessment and management, and ensure tracking, measuring, reporting, and evaluating vendor performance.
  8. Plan and organize a daily work schedule.
  9. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  10. Make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met.
  11. Follow up on payments and invoices.
  12. Manage database inclusive of Purchase Orders data maintenance, closures and analysis as part
  13. of procurement activities review and control.
  14. Produce reports on spending and savings.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related majorMinimum of 10 years’ experience in similar fieldKnowledge of inventory management and cost control practices.Effective Leadership skillsStrategic planning and thinking Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency.Strong negotiation skills Excellent communication skills.
