The Projects Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing infrastructure projects related to potable water networks, sewage systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants. The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical accuracy, timely delivery, compliance with safety standards, and client satisfaction throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Review project designs, technical specifications, BOQs, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, procurement schedules, and resource allocations.
- Supervise site activities, ensuring adherence to scope, time, and quality.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, and government authorities regarding project progress and approvals.
- Identify potential risks, propose mitigation plans, and resolve construction and coordination issues.
- Monitor performance of subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Prepare and submit project reports, updates, and documentation to management.
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and quality standards are met during project execution.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project engineers, supervisors, and technical teams.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering .
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing water and wastewater projects.
- Proven experience in water transmission/distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and treatment facilities.
- Strong knowledge of international engineering and safety standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, OSHA).
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
