- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, and airlines to book cargo space and confirm transport schedules.
- Ensure that cargo is moved efficiently, safely, and in accordance with customer expectations and contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance of documentation with international trade laws, customs regulations, and internal policies.
- Support the warehouse and transportation teams with outgoing cargo planning.
- Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate clearance and ensure the timely release of cargo.
- Follow up on the issuance of the Certificate of Origin (COO) and any other exemption certificates like EUR1 and COMESA.
- Track and trace shipments to guarantee on-time pickup, transit, and delivery.
- Resolve any issues such as delays, demurrage, detention, damage, or documentation errors.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.3 —5 years of experience in export logistics & freight forwarding operations (air/sea/land), chemicals experience is preferred.Familiarity with customs regulations and shipping documentation.Strong knowledge of global logistics processes, especially for export procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Very Good in the English Language.
