MEP Engineer

MEP System Design & Implementation:

Assist in the design and installation of MEP systems for new bank branches, renovations, or expansions.

Ensure MEP systems are designed to meet the specific needs of the banking environment, such as power supply reliability, climate control, and water safety.

Collaborate with architects and construction teams to ensure system integration.

Maintenance and Operations:

Oversee routine inspection and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical installations, plumbing systems, fire protection, and safety systems.

Monitor and analyze system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary to improve efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues promptly to minimize disruption to banking operations.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all MEP systems comply with local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards, including fire safety, health codes, and environmental regulations.

Work with regulatory authorities to ensure certifications and inspections are conducted in accordance with legal requirements.

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on MEP installations to mitigate potential hazards.

Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:

Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives within MEP systems to reduce costs and improve sustainability.

Keep up-to-date with the latest energy-efficient technologies and sustainability trends in MEP engineering.

Prepare and implement energy management strategies, focusing on reducing carbon footprints across banking facilities.

Vendor Management & Coordination:

Liaise with external contractors and service providers for repair, installation, and maintenance services.

Review and manage contracts related to MEP systems, ensuring service delivery standards are met.

Negotiate and manage budgets for MEP-related services and equipment procurement.

Emergency Response & Contingency Planning:

Develop and implement contingency plans for critical MEP system failures (e.g., power outages, HVAC breakdowns).

Act as the first point of contact during emergency repairs, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of MEP systems, repairs, service schedules, and inspections.

Prepare detailed reports and maintain logs on system performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents for internal review and audit purposes.


Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.Candidates must have 1 to 3 years of experience in MEP design, coordination, or site supervision for building projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools is a plus.Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with basic understanding of relevant codes and standards, is expected.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are important.Willingness to work on-site as needed and proficiency in English are also required.
