Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock outs or overstock situations.
- Optimize production schedules to maximize efficiency, reduce changeovers, and meet customer requirements.
- Track and report key planning KPIs such as schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation based on production demand.
- Communicate plan changes and updates to relevant departments to ensure alignment.
- Identify planning issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve constraints or delays.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of planning systems and processes (e.g., ERP/MRP).
- Prepare daily and weekly planning reports for management review.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.2+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain within the food industry.Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and inventory control practices.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience in demand planning or sales & operations planning (S&OP).Familiarity with food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP).advanced in Excel skills.October / Zayed Resident.
