Job Summary:

The Compensation & Benefits Supervisor is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and administration of company compensation and benefits programs. This role ensures that the company's pay and benefits strategies are competitive, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with local labor laws and regulations. The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the compensation and benefits function, manage related budgets, and provide guidance and support to employees on these matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Management:
    • Participate in the development and implementation of salary structures, job evaluation systems, and pay policies.
    • Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure the company's compensation practices are competitive within the local and relevant industry benchmarks.
    • Administer the annual salary review process, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related compensation changes.
    • Prepare and analyze compensation reports and metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with the Egyptian Labor Law and other relevant regulations regarding wages and compensation.
  • Benefits Management:
    • Administer the company's benefits programs, including health insurance, social insurance, and other employee welfare programs.
    • Manage relationships with benefits providers and vendors.
    • Oversee the enrollment, changes, and termination processes for employee benefits.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related documentation and payments.
    • Communicate benefits information to employees through various channels, including presentations and informational materials.
    • Ensure compliance with the Egyptian Social Insurance Law and other relevant benefits regulations.
  • Policy Development & Implementation:
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that all policies are clearly documented, communicated effectively, and consistently applied.
    • Regularly review and update policies to ensure they remain relevant and compliant.
  • Employee Relations & Communication:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
    • Provide clear and accurate information to employees regarding their pay and benefits packages.
    • Assist in resolving compensation and benefits-related issues and disputes.
  • Budget Management:
    • Assist in the development and management of the compensation and benefits budget.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness of programs.
    • Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with applicable Egyptian labor laws, social insurance regulations, and other relevant legislation.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and regulatory bodies.
    • Participate in internal and external audits related to compensation and benefits.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration:
    • Collaborate effectively with other HR team members, Finance department, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide support and guidance to HR Generalists on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on best practices and trends in compensation and benefits.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the compensation and benefits function.

 

 


Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in compensation and benefits administration, preferably within a multinational or large organization in Egypt.Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance Law related to compensation and benefits.Experience with job evaluation methodologies and salary survey participation.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Proven experience working with SAP HR modules, specifically those related to Compensation and Benefits, is highly preferred.Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
