Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best value for the company while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers. Provide insights to the management team regarding potential risks and opportunities.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure materials meet specifications and project timelines.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends. Utilize data to make informed purchasing decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the steel industry.Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of steel production processes and standards.Experience with ERP systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferably a resident of 10th of Ramadan City or nearby areas
