Network & Security Section head

For a Leading distribution company in Tobacco industry, located in Giza- 6th October, we are looking for Network & Security section head who will assume the following responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure 99.9% uptime of networks
  • Develop IT project management processes and procedures, based on best practices for the industry
  • Lead internal projects to improve services or introduce new services as needed
  • Manage assets utilization and determined the need for replacement or upgrade
  • Manage maintenance contracts, suppliers, service providers
  • Identify and create the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for networks
  • Provide direction on new technologies and platforms to be introduced, assimilated, and integrated to ensure IT capabilities respond to the business needs
  • Take responsibility for the day to day operation, supporting the team with overall guidance and supervision
  • Maintain documentation related to the work processes to be up to date, accurate, and reflect the day to day running of the team
  • Full ownership and accountability on the security of systems with 100% fault-free operation
  • Cooperate with other departments to achieve common business goals
  • Responsible for the team performance and their career/personal development

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with CCNP, CCIE certification.6 - 8 years of solid Security experienceSolid background in network administration and architecture.In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols. (OSPF, ..)Familiarity with access control models and network security. (cisco ISE)Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools with sharp troubleshooting skills. Provide recommendations for the development and analysis of Network Security policies and procedures.Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery).Build an internal Knowledge Transfer with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
