- The Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and MEP engineering projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that the project is completed within its projected budget and will provide expert advice on cost-effective measures.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on cost performance.
- Assess and manage financial risks and issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Bachelor’s degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is preferred.Minimum +7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.Proficient in cost management software and MS Office Suite.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
