Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team at a leading freight forwarding company. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, acquiring new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and freight forwarding services, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and target new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and expand market share.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Create and execute tailored sales pitches and presentations to potential clients.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Achieve sales targets and KPIs by effectively prospecting and closing sales deals.
    • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of services.
    • Provide clients with comprehensive quotes and information about our services, including pricing, lead times, and delivery options.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and provide ongoing support.
    • Regularly meet with clients to assess needs, gather feedback, and offer additional solutions.
    • Resolve any issues or concerns clients may have regarding shipments, pricing, or service levels.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
    • Research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities, potential competitors, and client needs.
    • Monitor competitor offerings and provide insights for developing competitive pricing strategies.
    • Provide regular reports on sales progress, activities, and results to management.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
    • Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure the smooth execution of freight solutions for clients.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team to help tailor campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management:
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring that both client needs and company goals are met.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during the negotiation and contracting process.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).Proven track record in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, international shipping, and supply chain solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Multilingual skills (English and Arabic Fluency)Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required):Familiarity with logistics and freight forwarding softwareExperience working with international clients and cross-border logistics.
