The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the construction sector. This position requires a proactive individual with an in-depth knowledge of all construction raw material SKUs in the Egyptian market. The Sales Officer will also nurture and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in construction companies.
Lead Generation
- Develop in-depth knowledge of construction raw materials (steel, cement, wood, plumbing, electrical, bricks) and all its common SKUs in the market.
- Identify and source potential customers (B2B) in the construction industry.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of procurement contacts within the construction industry.
Sales Operations
- Manage cold and warm calls to prospective leads, schedule and follow through on calls and setup meetings with leads and current customers.
- Answer all lead and customer questions accurately and promptly; prioritize and/or escalate accordingly.
- Maintain an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
- Promote specific products as directed by upper management.
Account Management
- Answer customers' questions and follow-up on deliveries and escalate issues accordingly.
- Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers.
NCS02
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.At least 3 years of professional experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector is a MUST. Preferably in construction.Proven track record in B2B sales.Ability to travel locally up to 60% of the time to meet clients (transportation provided)Excellent customer service skills.Basic proficiency in MS Excel.Excellent time management.
