As we expand our operations into Port Said’s Free Trade Zone (FTZ), we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead the logistics, inventory, and trade compliance functions for this facility. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished goods while leveraging FTZ benefits such as duty exemptions and preferential trade agreements to optimize cost efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end supply chain management, overseeing inbound logistics, warehousing, production material flow, and outbound shipments for our automotive interior components.
  • Ensure full adherence to Free Trade Zone laws, including customs documentation, bonded inventory management, and duty-free processing.
  • Maintain a seamless supply chain flow to support CT Automotive’s high-volume production and global distribution network using Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-in-Sequence (JIS) optimization.
  • Manage relationships with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to optimize lead times and cost efficiencies.
  • Identify savings opportunities in transportation, warehousing, and customs duty management while ensuring world-class service levels.
  • Implement lean inventory strategies to reduce working capital while ensuring material availability for production.
  • Utilize SAP, Business Central, or other ERP/WMS systems to enhance real-time tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure supply chain operations align with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or Engineering.5+ years of experience in automotive supply chain, FTZ management, or global logistics.Proven experience with automotive JIT/JIS supply models and global trade compliance.Strong understanding of Egyptian FTZ regulations, customs laws, and international trade agreements.Hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, and digital supply chain solutions.Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
