Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting: Lead the development and implementation of robust demand forecasting methodologies, including statistical forecasting models (e.g., moving averages, exponential smoothing, ARIMA), time series analysis, and incorporating qualitative inputs.
- Oversee the daily operations of the demand planning team, including assigning tasks, reviewing forecasts, and providing guidance and support.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, competitor activities, economic indicators, and other relevant factors to develop accurate and timely demand forecasts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, such as forecast error, bias, and mean absolute deviation (MAD), and identify areas for improvement.
- Responsible for the company's commercial strategic vision for the development and ensure that the RTM strategy & marketing plan is converted into sales goals, business objectives and planned activities for the distributor teams to align efforts and maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement an innovative, growth focused commercial, pricing and costing strategy, focusing primarily on new product areas and emerging markets to maximize revenue.
- Plan, develop and implement commercial strategies, promotional programs, channel management, staff development based on company goals and objectives with the main goal to support and accelerate growth and increasing the market share for various product categories and across relevant channels.
- Develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities and carry out programs for market research and analysis including market segments, buying trends and competitor analysis.
- Effectively represent the company at various community, business, industry and governmental meetings to promote the company and its interests.
- Direct, manage and monitor the overall performance of the commercial team members effective liaison, support and assistance between commercial activities/departments and rest of the organization.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP):Lead the S&OP process, facilitating cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, operations, finance, and other departments.
- Develop and present consensus demand plans to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as demand variability, supply disruptions, and natural disasters.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
