Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

Technical Documentation & Design Coordination:

  • Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Procurement & Material Management:

  • Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
  • Assist in selecting, procuring, and tracking mechanical materials and equipment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials through coordination with suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain and update material submittals and approvals logs.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all mechanical works comply with MEP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and compliance records.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Monitor variations and support claims preparation.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for cost tracking and reporting.

Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.3-5 years of experience in MEP construction (contracting or consultancy).Technical Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (must), and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).Knowledge of project scheduling, procurement processes, and cost control.Soft Skills:Strong communication and coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.Detail-oriented with problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.Employment Type: Full-time
