Electrical Construction Manager Work In Saudi Arabia

The Construction Manager (Electrical) is responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and regulations. This role involves coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure the successful execution of electrical works, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.


Project Management & Execution:

  • Plan, supervise, and manage all electrical construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical construction activities.

Electrical Installation & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the correct installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, generators, and low-voltage systems.
  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues related to electrical installations.

Site Coordination & Supervision:

  • Supervise and direct electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure work progress aligns with project milestones.

Health, Safety & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Enforce safety standards and ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, BS).
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent hazards.

Material Procurement & Resource Management:

  • Ensure timely procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material deliveries.
  • Monitor and control resource allocation to optimize costs and efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve client concerns regarding electrical construction activities.


Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or certifications (PMP, LEED, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical construction management.
  • Proven experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts (FIDIC) and procurement processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
