Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage facility operations, maintenance, and service programs.
- Supervise and mentor facility staff, including maintenance workers, custodians, and administrative personnel.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective facility management.
Operations & Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Safety & Security:
- Implement and monitor safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
- Coordinate regular safety drills and training for staff.
- Maintain oversight of security systems and manage external vendors as needed.
Strategic Planning:
- Evaluate and improve facility processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan for future facility needs, upgrades, and expansions.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to align facility operations with organizational goals.
Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure quality of services delivered.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Proven experience in facility management or related roles.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of building systems and safety standards.Proficient in facility management software and technology.
