The Assistant Housekeeping Manager assists the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction are met. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring efficient department operations.
- Supervise Housekeeping Team
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to ensure performance standards are met.
- Organize daily work schedules and delegate tasks.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.7-10 Years Experience in Hospitality and Housekeeping fieldBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferredStrong Communication SkillsKnowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic hotel management systems.
