Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Section Head to lead our mechanical team in our Alexandria facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical operations, maintenance, and repairs within the production plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of food processing equipment and a proven track record of managing a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the mechanical team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of all mechanical equipment, including processing machinery, packaging equipment, utilities, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and manage the mechanical department budget.
