We are recruiting for a Market Segment Manager for Egypt, Libya and Sudan. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic planning and execute initiatives to promote profitable growth in the market segment, aligning regional strategies with global business objectives. Innovation, digital transformation, and customer engagement are at the core of this role.

 

Expectations and Accountability of Job:

The Market Segment Manager is responsible for the management of the market segment in the area of responsibility (Egypt).

This role sets the strategy for defined industries and executes detailed plans to drive profitable growth across the market segment.

 

Responsibility / Tasks (generic)

  • Apply the divisional strategy within the area of responsibility. new employees into the workflow and team.
  • Ensure optimal information exchange within the team and with the interfaces.
  • Setting impulses for continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures as well as implementation of corresponding measures in coordination with the manager.
  • Contributing ideas and implementing the digital transformation in the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinating and implementing digitization projects in cooperation with the interfaces. Optimizing and mapping new and existing business processes in the digital databases and systems.
  • Adhere to approved budget and initiate appropriate action on impending and identified variances in coordination with manager.
  • Comply with legal requirements and internal regulations.
  • Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.

 

Job Profile-specific Responsibility / Tasks

Market analysis & identification of growth areas:

  • Understand global and regional market structure, trends, and customer needs to identify new market opportunities and associated B2B and B2C offerings.

Strategic planning & execution:

  • Implement short-, medium- and long-term market segment development plans to achieve sales targets and margins.
  • Actively contribute by building a strong lead and opportunity pipeline with the respective market segment development plan actions (MSDPAs).
  • Balance short and medium-term MSDPAs with existing B2B and B2Cs, ensuring effective opportunity pipeline conversion.
  • Collaborate with the regional market segment teams to streamline regional strategies and ensure overall global alignment.
  • Develop briefings in close collaboration with Business Units, Application, and Sales, incorporating key commercial and market-relevant elements such as business cases, value propositions, target customers, and applications.
  • Work closely with these teams to support the development of B2C/B2B product portfolios and collaborate with local and global Sales for successful commercialization.
  • Drive B2C category development and innovation by defining and implementing market and product concepts that align with consumer needs, integrating these efforts with the B2B ingredient portfolio to create best-in-class solutions.
  • Ensure alignment between Market Segment and Business Unit strategies.

Customer Engagement & Sales Support:

  • Develop relationships with key customers to support lead development and to generate new opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure sales enablement by providing optimal sales tools incl. presentations and support in customer interactions, internal trainings as well as strategic guidance for the market segment.
  • Support in potential, territory and prospect management, identifying key focus customers per region, new prospects and enabling their conversion next to optimal resource allocation.
  • Analyze market and customer potentials to ensure strategic alignments.

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.5-7 years of experience in B2B Marketing, within the carbonated beverage industry.Strong Leadership skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.Working Hours08:00 am to 04:00 pm (Sunday to Thursday).Job LocationIndustrial Zone, 6ᵗʰ of October.
