POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for end-to-end business activities, staring from development stages through bulk production, & post production. Collaborates with different teams. Assists the supervisor for the day to day execution and operations in line with the company strategy to achieve KPI’s.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Assist supervisor to drive strategies & initiatives.
- May work on multiple customers and product categories.
- Driving the development process from concept to sales.
- Timely, effective, & efficient communication internally and externally with suppliers and customers.
- Execution based on product and service level agreements and cost objectives.
- Sense check loading plans to ensure factory is able to deliver.
- Monitoring the production process to ensure on time delivery.
- Continuous development to reach on flawless execution by implementing the proper and efficient tracking mechanisms with which to effectively manage and monitor the business.
- Ensuring risk assessment is taking place for new styles and creating hindsight on existing styles for continuous improvement.
- Adopt a robust process to understand root cause related to any issues that may occur and ensure corrective actions are implemented on a timely basis.
- Support the supervisor to increase business volume and ensuring the maximum cost savings possible.
- Working in collaboration with all company departments.
BS degree in relevant fieldProven working experience in merchandising3-5 years relevant experienceApparel, and/or Textiles background is preferred. Manufacturing environment or similar previous working experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening, presentation and decision making skillsCommercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
