Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Prepare, manage, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
• Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in the financial performance of the company.

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure that financial statements are in compliance with accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory standards.
• Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, financial trends, and variances.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage the company’s cash flow and ensure that the business has sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient payment and collection processes.
• Monitor and manage short-term and long-term investments to maximize returns.

Budget Management:

• Develop and oversee the annual budget process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate budget estimates.
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets to ensure adherence to financial plans.
• Review and approve expenditures to ensure they align with organizational goals and budget allocations.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

• Oversee tax preparation, filings, and compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide tax planning advice and ensure the company benefits from appropriate tax-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with tax advisors and government agencies on tax matters.
