Interior design Team leader

Job Description:

The Interior Design Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and supervising all work completed by the team members while ensuring compliance with company quality standards and project requirements. This role involves coordinating with the Principal Engineer to establish design concepts, providing technical guidance, and enhancing team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & Monitor: Ensure that all assigned work meets required specifications, standards, and company guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical supervision, support, and guidance to the interior design team.
  • Coordination & Communication: Work closely with other disciplines’ team leaders, project managers, clients, and sub-consultants.
  • Quality Assurance: Direct and enable the development of architectural designs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Project Development: Lead and shape the design vision of projects within the team.
  • People Management: Implement on-the-job training to enhance team skills and increase competence.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8 to 10 years in interior design, project supervision, and team management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, project execution, and architectural detailing.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and Revit.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and guide team members while ensuring productivity.
  • Communication & Coordination: Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
