Project Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

The Project Sales Engineer is crucial in driving sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of high-end building materials and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, consultants, designers, and project owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new project leads within the target market.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the AEC industry.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to architects, consultants, contractors, and project owners.
  • Provide technical and product expertise to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and address any issues that may arise.
  • Possess a strong understanding of high-end building and finishing materials, including (Porcelain, natural stone, and marble, among others).
  • Be able to provide technical advice and support to clients on product selection, specifications, and applications.
  • Track and analyze sales performance using CRM software.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related field) is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the construction industry, preferably focusing on high-end building materials.
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievement and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license and owning a car are prerequisites.
