  1. Approve specifications and parts (plastic, foam, sheet metal, papers): Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals for approved parts.
  2. Perform and attend new parts trials in local vendors: Identify potential risks during trials and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  3.  Design and evaluate jigs for new parts: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of jigs and tools to ensure reliability.
  4. Manage changes in design and modifications if needed: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align modifications with production and quality standards.
  5. Review and reflect assembly ability during mass production: Establish a feedback loop with production teams for continuous improvement during early mass production stages.
  6. Report tools and troubleshooting parts during trials: Develop preventive maintenance schedules for tools used in trials and production.
  7. Maintain comprehensive documentation of trial results, tooling designs, and modifications.
  8. Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes using Lean principles to enhance efficiency and quality.
  9. Collaborate with vendors to ensure parts meet quality, timelines, and budget constraints, and conduct vendor audits for compliance.
  10. Establish inspection protocols and acceptance criteria for parts and tools.
  11. Train team members and vendors on technical requirements and share best practices.
  12. Evaluate and optimize costs for new parts, tooling, and modifications, and propose alternative designs or materials.
  13. Standardize trial procedures, tools, and documentation for consistency across projects.
