Managing a design team to meet customer needs Manage and coordinate with consultants and vendors They include but are not limited to production architects engineers renders furniture vendors Managing the design process Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client s needs concerns and objectives Supporting understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design Encouraging and inspiring design consultants to produce their best work using their full flair experience resources and talents in a cost effective way Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation standards and codes of practice where appropriate Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales and Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites like prequalification or getting on a vendor list are fulfilled within a timely manner Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies deal requirements potential and financials evaluating options resolving internal priorities recommending equity investments Manage the design development and construction document drawing production phases Ensure consultants maintain schedules and are provided information required to complete drawings Review redline and approve all construction documents to ensure drawings are accurate and consistent especially between the architectural and engineering documents Manage consultant s budgets and discern the need and request additional scope work Develop and maintain deliverable schedules Collaborate closely with other related groups so that documents are delivered and evaluated within the timelines established Capable of identifying any discrepancies between deliverables and constantly evolving project objectives Identify and maintain any timelines that are related to the Department of Building or any other government agency Conduct periodic coordination meetings involving related consultants so that information is shared and dialogue is constant Record and minute all meetings and keep track of attendees input Qualifications :• BA/BS degree in Architecture or Design.• Advanced AutoCAD, Revit.• Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, MS Office.• Minimum experience 3-5 years
