Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure their efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose issues and resolve them quickly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to minimize downtime and avoid production delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during maintenance activities.
- Manage and coordinate repair schedules to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain and update records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replaced.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and longevity.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
- Order and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance work.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to address any maintenance-related issues that affect production.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance procedures and compliance with company policies and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Requirements:Proven work experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar technical role.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.Familiarity with maintenance management software and systems.Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills to interact with team members and management.Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards.Technical degree or certification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).Experience with industrial machinery and equipment is a plus.
