We are looking for a professional Teller to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the accurate processing of deposits, withdrawals, and other financial services related to real estate transactions. The Teller will also help maintain a secure and organized cash handling environment, while assisting with payments for real estate transactions and services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Transactions:
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions related to real estate deals, including rent payments, down payments, and escrow account management.
• Cash checks, process money orders, and handle foreign currency exchange when necessary.
• Ensure that all transactions are conducted according to the company’s policies and procedures.
2. Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers, providing them with a positive banking experience tailored to real estate transactions.
• Address and resolve any customer inquiries or issues related to their accounts or payments for property transactions.
3. Cash Handling:
• Ensure accurate cash drawer management, maintaining proper cash levels and verifying cash received from property transactions or customer payments.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
4. Sales and Referrals:
• Promote related financial products and services, such as home loan referrals, mortgage advice, and real estate investment opportunities.
• Refer customers to appropriate departments for additional financial services (e.g., mortgage, insurance).
5. Security and Compliance:
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information, especially regarding sensitive property transaction details.
• Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and real estate transaction regulations.
6. Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Accurately record and report daily transactions and any discrepancies in cash handling.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial activities, including those related to real estate deals.


Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in finance, real estate, or business is a plus.• Proven experience in a similar teller or customer service role (banking, financial services, or real estate experience preferred).• Basic knowledge of financial products and services, as well as real estate transaction processes.Skills and Competencies:1. Technical Skills:• Proficiency in using banking software and point-of-sale (POS) systems, especially those used in real estate transactions.• Ability to operate office equipment (cash register, computer, printer).• Strong math skills and attention to detail for cash handling and transaction processing.2. Soft Skills:• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.• Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy.3. Other Requirements:• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues promptly.• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.• Knowledge of real estate transaction procedures and banking regulations is an advantage.
